Your new role
As Bid Manager you will be responsible for managing all bids activity. You will play a key role in helping to achieve growth plans by, managing the bids pipeline, providing guidance on win strategy, producing bids documents, coaching presentation teams and supporting on wider BD activities.
You will also be a key player in the continuous improvement of the bids and BD processes the development of the team.

What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate will have experience of managing bids and supporting on BD activity, ideally within a professional services environment.
You will have strong strategic and commercial awareness with proven experience in developing winning strategies, viable/profitable offers and creative pricing ideas.
You will have developed a good understanding of sales theory and best practice, and have experience of applying that to successfully defend/win clients. You will understand project management techniques and be able to create and manage complex project plans, with the determination and pace to make things happen. Having strong writing, proofreading and editing skills and the ability to adapt style to different audiences and channels is essential!
Previous knowledge and experience of pitch presentation skills and best practice, and successfully coaching and guiding others is crucial.
