Digital Marketing Executive - £27k - £30k doe - Perm - Hybrid (Cardiff office)
Your new company
Our client, a Cardiff-based provider of high-quality, flexible education and CPD for professionals, are looking to expand their Marketing function with a new Digital Marketing Executive. You will be tasked with implementing cutting edge MarTech solutions, analysing and dissecting your audience whilst producing exciting Email Marketing campaigns and writing engaging copy. you will become a product specialist for a number of courses within our clients' portfolio and spearhead new initiatives to promote them to the right audience. You will be a senior member of a marketing team of 5, reporting to the head of marketing.
Your new role
You will write engaging email content for customers, continually improving and monitoring automated email marketing to ensure customers flow through the sales funnel. You'll carry out SEO audits, keyword research, and work to optimise our client's web pages for organic search traffic with the support of an external SEO consultant. You'll develop, implement, and lead campaigns to run across all marketing channels and create a campaign and content calendar for two student cohort intakes a year.
Working alongside the marketing assistant, you'll assist in the creation of social media content for
various platforms to support marketing campaigns. You will organise and promote webinars to generate leads and be comfortable reporting all activity to the Head of Marketing. You'll Identify new trends in digital marketing, evaluate new technologies, and ensure brand visibility. Working with the Head of Marketing, you'll identify relevant PR opportunities for the
products you manage.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful in this role you'll have extensive experience in email marketing ,preferably Active Campaign software, and proficiency in Google Analytics. You'll be able to demonstrate a proven track record of planning, implementing, and evaluating marketing campaigns on a brand and product level and possess excellent copywriting skills, attention to detail is key! A competency with data evaluation, spreadsheets, and statistical reporting is needed and you'll ideally have experience of using CRM systems and the ability to understand basic HTML.
Ideally you'll be somebody who is committed to self motivated learning. It is preferable that you have a degree in Marketing or are CIM qualified. You must be able to demonstrate previous experience of working within digital marketing, preferably in healthcare or higher education.
