Hays are recruiting for an Ecommerce Manager on behalf of the world's leading player tracking & analysis provider in elite sports.
Your new role
As Ecommerce Manager you will drive the expansion of the ecommerce platform and be responsible for the growth into international markets, improving conversion rate optimisation on site, and managing the increasing product catalogue. You will use digital analytics to identify opportunities to drive growth and optimise performance to meet commercial KPI's, work closely with operations/warehouse teams to drive fulfilment improvement and operational excellence and maintain close collaboration with the supply chain team to maintain in-stock status on site, develop our growing product catalogue and forecast product demand. You will lead new product launches and related activities, develop and execute strategies for key promotional periods to meet overall ecommerce goals, measure and report operational performance against KPI's and manage feedback loop with customers, combining quantitative and qualitative data to learn how customers are engaging with the company. You will leverage data & customer insight to challenge the status quo, continuously optimising onsite performance through an agile test-and-learn approach and work closely with the central marketing team and creative, in order to improve the customer journey onsite.
What you'll need to succeed
As Ecommerce Manager you will have a minimum of 3 years' experience working in e-commerce on any platform, experience in measuring and improving conversion rates, user experience and checkout effectiveness, experience of order management/ customer fulfilment in ecommerce and experience managing product demand forecasting. You will have experience using data tools e.g., Google Analytics or similar and fluency in English, both oral and written. Desirable if you have experience working with Shopify and marketplaces such as Amazon and experience working with a CMS.
