Your new company
Is seeking some body to be part of the Member Experience & Brand Team. Having a nationwide base with branches in every county. To assist with strategy, templates and nationwide implementation. This not for profit organisation is a financial service provider for local communities and aids in supporting towns, villages and broader communities.
Your new role
Provide local marketing strategy support to credit unions developing their individual marketing strategy, using templates to design a bespoke plan to meet their business requirements. Provide advice and guidance on local marketing solutions for credit unions - market research (common bond analysis using CSO census statistics), local advertising solutions, member communications, marketing materials and PR. Provide support and guidance for credit unions on leveraging the National Advertising Campaign (NAC) locally, and using the NAC branding to promote their own message effectively. Contribute to the procurement process for the next iteration of the National Advertising Campaign Work closely with our in house designer in developing marketing materials for use by nationally and locally. Provide real-time customer help desk support to credit unions, dealing with queries in an effective and efficient manner. Provide on-going support to Digital Marketing Officer on digital campaigns including; Search, Display and Social Media advertising. Research and write content for Blog page and Marketing eZine. Work closely with outsourced Press & Social Media function to develop content calendar, manage and optimise social channels to grow and engage existing and prospective customers, and drive traffic to the website to increase overall brand awareness. Manage marketing materials, templates and tools including marketing guidelines, best practice examples and templates to credit unions. Supporting other Departments by delivering a quality marketing service to meet their marketing collateral and promotional requirements. Work closely with relevant Departments at key stages on the development of new products/services to maximise marketing opportunities. Assist as required with agreed promotional requirements and materials for the AGM and Conference including occasional attendance at evening and weekend presentations country wide.
Provide general support to Head of Member Experience & Brand and other team members as required.
What you'll need to succeed
A bachelor's degree or equivalent in marketing or a related field. A minimum of 4 years' experience in marketing, preferably in the context of a B2B, with a proven track record in providing quality and timely support and execution, delivering high-quality results. Experience of working as part of a team. Excellent communication (oral and written) and editing skills. Driver's license and car owner (or access to one), are essential.
A willingness to work outside normal hours and weekends when required. Experience in devising, developing and implementing advertising campaigns as well as providing support and guidance to third parties on the implementation of marketing strategies. Experience of brand management and execution. Strong knowledge/ experience of digital marketing tools including use of Search, Display and Social Media advertising. Experience managing and optimising social media channels. Experience in planning and supporting marketing presence at events ranging from hosted workshops to presence at large-scale third-party events. A strong ability to manage competing priorities and multiple requests. A relentless customer focus and curiosity to understand what makes your target audience tick. A strong willingness to learn and be constantly expanding your marketing skills and knowledge. A performance-driven focus Superb project management skills with high attention to detail.
