Your new role
This position is responsible for development and execution of the company's overall International product strategy. This role is responsible for all aspects of marketing planning, implementation and launch through maturation of the product lifecycle and will include being responsible for formulating overall roaming business strategy to meet current and future needs of international service. Lead multiple highly complex, cross-functional marketing and/or product management programs. Owns full project responsibility, develops program objectives and plans, identifies and obtains resources and manages to a budget. Program manages initial LTE and VoLTE. Roaming deployments, decommissioning of legacy roaming solutions, and implementation of new products and services. Provides market intelligence, evaluates new and emerging technology and global connectivity solution. Assigns program responsibilities to team members and oversees results to ensure accurate and timely deliverables. Establishes operational objectives for product performance and ensures progress is tracked to meet goals.Collaborates with numerous functional areas, including Finance, IT, Network, Legal, Marketing Communications, Customer Service and Field organization. Responsible for vendor management and acts independently and makes final decisions that impact products. Partners with IT, Network and business teams to develop detailed requirements and use cases for new product enhancements. Evaluates networks & IT solutions to ensure that overall project requirements are met. Partners with internal Standards, IT, Network and Finance teams to develop positions on industry issues. Conference leadership and representation of Verizon Wireless (Example = Mobile World Congress & GSMA). Includes public speaking engagements where beneficial. Responsible for managing complete project management lifecycle of International projects.

What you'll need to succeed
Bachelor's degree in marketing or business. Experience in Marketing, Product or Program Management in wireless industry, including Market Planning, Product Development & Management. Prior leadership experience required. Proven track record in financial assessments, business case development and analysis. End to end understands telecommunications fundamentals, both technical and business. Strong knowledge of wireless Billing, Network Engineering, and Operations is required. Demonstrates strong financial knowledge and capability. Superior project management skills and process oriented. Contract negotiation and vendor management skills. Strong written and oral communication skills
