Main Purpose of the Role: With support of the Integrated Marketing Manager, this role takes ownership of marketing activity in response to business priorities and strategic challenges and works autonomously to deliver highly effective integrated campaigns. The role leads the development, delivery and measurement of multi-channel marketing campaigns to achieve brand, marketing and commercial objectives whilst engaging senior stakeholders throughout the process.
Overall Objectives: Strategic development of marketing solutions in response to business priorities and strategic challenges working as a partner to other areas of the organisation to understand their needs and the contextual factors in alignment with business and brand objectives. • Delivery of highly effective integrated marketing campaigns and activities to achieve brand and departmental objectives. • Use of insight to develop effective marketing campaigns and interpret reporting to continuously improve marketing campaign performance. Support the Integrated Marketing Manager in forward planning to assist with prioritisation and ongoing improvements in ways of working across the Integrated Marketing Team. • Provide recommendations for the best use of budget for campaigns ultilising contextual awareness, best practice knowledge of channel and marketing activity, insight and evaluation to achieve campaign objectives and efficiently manage budgets set. • To build and maintain trusted and positive working relationships with key stakeholders within Marketing and Communications and across Battersea.
Responsibilities: Approx % of time 1. Project management, development and delivery of highly effective integrated marketing campaigns to drive action in support of cross-organisational objectives. 45 % 2. Strategic development of marketing briefs for business priority areas collaborating with senior managers and stakeholders as required. 15% 3. Managing multiple projects and prioritising work according to the business priorities, deadlines and where expertise can add the most value to campaigns. 15% 4. Autonomously leading campaign analysis, evaluation and implementation of actionable insights and learnings to inform future activity whilst engaging with stakeholders in campaign direction. 10% 5. Build and maintain close positive working relationships with other teams as well as management of processes to benefit from more effective and efficient ways of working. 10% 6. Person Specification: Essential - Job Specific Experience and achievement in marketing campaign project management, from strategy through to development, delivery and measurement. Proven ability to analyse results of campaigns, understand the key performance indicators affecting outcomes and use learning to recommend future activity as well as engaging stakeholders in proposed direction throughout. Multi-channel knowledge and understanding, including in-depth understanding of the media landscape across offline and online channels. Good understanding and experience of the production processes across channels from concept development through to delivery. Proven experience in project management and the ability to multi-task and manage competing deadlines, working with stakeholders to prioritise as needed. Strong creative judgement and an eye for creative excellence. Able to translate brand propositions across channels and environments. Ability to think strategically alongside a demonstrable understanding of brand and brand strategy with attention to detail to deliver high quality work autonomously. Experience of managing significant budgets and expenditure. Core Skills - Literacy, Numeracy and IT skills Good standard of written English and numeracy and competent user of MS Office and IT systems Communication skills Significant interpersonal and consultative skills, including the ability to communicate, present, negotiate, influence and build credibility with colleagues and external parties Empathy & Resilience Experience of dealing with sensitive issues with empathy and resilience Time management, Proven ability to manage a high workload and multiple priorities whilst meeting deadlines.
