The University of Roehampton is recruiting to the role of Digital Content Manager to join our growing Marketing & Communications team.
This is an exciting time to join the team as we play a key role in supporting the University deliver on its ambitious strategy over the next 5 years.
This is a brand-new role at the University and is ideal for someone with a passion for storytelling through a range of digital channels. This role will lead on overseeing and managing the production of a range of digital assets including videos, podcasts and written content such as blogs. The role will focus on ensuring an integrated approach across all the digital content produced by the marketing team and ensure content gaps are identified and prioritised in line with strategic objectives.
Key responsibilities will include developing and managing a content schedule for the year, staying up to date with trends and new developments in the digital arena, line managing a Digital Content Creator and identifying opportunities for content to drive applications and increase conversions.
The successful candidate will have skills and experience in planning and managing filming schedules, experience in editing videos for multiple online channels, attention to detail in respect of brand guidelines and technical knowledge in the areas of Adobe programmes, such as Lightroom, Photoshop and Premiere. They will also have proven experience in line management and working with a range of stakeholders, both internally and externally.
