Your new role

As Product and Category Manager, you will be responsible for managing and developing the overall strategy of the company's key brand to achieve sales targets and promote sustainable growth. The markets you would be working across will be UK, Ireland, Nordics, and Benelux. The key responsibilities encompassed in this role will be innovation, category management, training, insights, pricing, and budget. You will be managing the launch of new products and monitoring the performance post launch and reporting these KPIs, developing full 360 (growth) marketing strategy working across teams such as Trade Marketing and Digital Marketing, creating marketing collateral and conducting market research and customer data analysis to implement into future product strategy. You will be reporting into the Head of Product Development and working alongside six other individuals in the Product and Category Team across the different markets.

What you'll need to succeed

For a successful application, you must have several years of strong experience in Category and/or Product Management or a Brand Manager role. The right candidate will have a passion for the optical industry as you will be fully engrossed in the culture and environment. You must be strong, independent, and passionate in your work and have excellent communication and presentation skills. A natural strong problem solver will thrive in this role as quick solutions are often required when challenges arise. Ideally, the right candidate will also be adept in market research techniques, consumer and ECP understanding, category management, segmentation and positioning and strategic benefits.
