Hays are delighted to be exclusively working with a leading membership organisations in Edinburgh to recruit their Internal Communications Officer. This is an exciting time to join the organisation as they have recently launched an ambitious new strategy to deliver the highest standards of education and information to more people across the globe and to encourage greater engagement from new and existing members.


Your new role

The Internal Communications Officer will manage all communications to staff to ensure that they are fully aware of all development in the organisation, that they understand the strategy, the organisations mission, vision and values and that they feel valued and supported in the work they do. The post holder will have the opportunity to make the role their own and bring new and innovative ideas to help deliver the organisations goals. They will also have the opportunity to work on a range of key projects including playing an important role in the delivery of a new pay and reward scheme which will deliver parity across roles and a clear reward structure.

The Internal Communications Officer will holder will develop new channels for communication to ensure that key messages can be easily absorbed and understood and they will support the organisations develop their employer brand.


What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role you must have:


* Excellent written and verbal communications skills
* Previous experience in a communications role (ideally internal communications)
* Experience implementing multi channel internal communications campaigns
* Good stakeholder and supplier management skills and experience
* Excellent project planning skills and attention to detail
* Creative thinking

* Salary upto £30,000 DOE
* 42 days annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays)
