A global manufacturing company in Northern Ireland are recruiting for a Market Research Analyst,

Your new role
As Industrial Market Research Analyst you will join the marketing team to lead qualitative and quantitative research and provide ongoing support to the business development & sales activities. As Market Research Analyst you will be required to master Heavy Equipment Industry trends and key players and preferably have some experience in this or a related sector, you sill contribute to a fact-based business culture by demonstrating the value of industry and customer data to key stakeholders, including senior management, marketing, business group market research, and sales.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have experience in similar, marketing, statistical analysis or market research role preferably from within the Heavy Equipment Industry, demonstrable ability to utilise multiple tools to provide detailed overviews, including online research, industry interviews and visits to industry events/trade shows and you will have demonstrable understanding and application of standard practices, concepts and techniques related to specialization. You will have the ability to collect data on customers, competitors, distribution partners and markets & consolidate into actionable items, research reports and presentations, and will have experience of compiling and analyzing statistical data using various methods to collect it, formulate reports and make recommendations, and you will have experience of thematic and regional market research analysis. You will be IT literate including advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products, with strong research project management skills, ability to work collaboratively with teams and effectively interact with a diverse global team, inquisitive and creative desire to learn and gain knowledge about the marketplace and have broad knowledge in using online databases. You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to organize and complete multiple projects simultaneously and willingness for some international travel - (10-15%), experience in global research a plus as well as foreign language proficiency.
