Social Media Executive (Contract)

Social Media Exec - 3 Month Contract - Public Sector - £27k

Your new company
You will be working for a large public sector organisation in Edinburgh.

Your new role
Working closely with the social media manager and the wider content team, you will:

* Support the delivery of our social media strategy and improve engagement.
* Generate ideas for social content and bring them to life.
* Write accurate, audience-led social copy and make images/graphics/GIFs.
* Respond to comments as part of regular channel moderation.

* Support with social media schedule management, reporting and insights as required.



What you'll need to succeed
You'll have bags of enthusiasm for all things social, be highly organised, and have:

* Demonstrable experience of creating engaging ideas and posts for Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn.
* Demonstrable experience of scheduling social posts and moderation using a platform like Orlo/Hootsuite.
* Demonstrable experience of writing succinct and accurate copy.

* Experience of creative software (Canva / Biteable for example).



What you'll get in return
Flexible working options available. You will be paid an hourly rate of £27k via Hays timesheets on a weekly basis.
