You will need experience developing social media activities for a franchise or a membership organisation. Where both HQ brand social activities and those of the advocates for the brand (franchisees) are closely related, and where sales outcomes are resultant effects.
You relish the opportunity to share your techniques with others. You are comfortable on regular webinars and presenting to large audiences at in-person events. If you enjoy working with the topic of travel, and love an exciting challenge and want a fresh opportunity.
The Social Media Manager Role:
Your role will lead our social strategy and implementation, from a planning through to day to day implementation point of view.
Reporting with specifics and detail to the Head of Marketing, and collaborating with other members of marketing the wider business team to execute on social with quality, and catalyse engagements and touchpoint opportunities for Travel Consultants to connect with their audiences.
You will have a degree of management responsibility to ensure the quality of work delivered across the social media team meets a standard required and adheres to the aspirations and goals of the business.
You’ll need skills and experience in the following areas:
+ Advocacy, training for virtual or in-person training
+ Audience insights, and social channel development, trends analysis
+ TikTok - channel management experience
+ Social content creation and best practice and trends
+ Engagement mechanics, initiatives, incentives and data capture.
+ Amplified content and micro/influencer strategy
+ Deep audience and behavioural insights, dashboards and reporting
+ Scheduling and sequencing activities.
+ Managing social across multiple platforms, in house and distributed teams.
Here is where we see you need the experience to kick ass at this role:
+ Minimum 6 years experience in social and digital media, 2 years as senior or team leader
+ You need to be a confident leader as well as a collaborator
+ Diligent attention to the details others might miss
+ Find new angles and insights which differentiate content pieces from the noise in the marketplace.
+ Seek and develop social media mechanics which connect buyer journeys and touchpoint marketing to deliver behavioural changes.
+ Respond positively to constructive feedback from any member of the team, or travel consultant or trade partner community when it’s received.
+ Read and respond to the market and audience sentiment around sensitive topic areas eg Climate change
+ Work effectively and efficiently with the wider business
+ Develop practices which help the business access, use and recycle social content easily.
+ Work with other members of the marketing team to look for opportunities to support their outcomes with the benefit of outstanding content.
+ Be an inspiration to your fellow team mates
+ Work in such a way that you consider your impact on others.
