This Manchester based inward investment agency are looking for a Business Development Executive to be part of a small, fast-paced, and high-impact team, responsible for supporting the Head of BD and BD Managers by project managing new investment enquiries and aftercare provision.
Your new role
You will undertake desk-based research to support proposition development and conduct lead generation activity. You will provide aftercare support and monitor alerts and other relevant sources to identify new investment leads Working with colleagues and partner organisations such as universities you will help in the development and delivery of existing and new services to clients that increase value of proposition and customer services levels. The successful candidate will develop personal knowledge of priority sectors, sector propositions, market trends to increase effectiveness in role.
What you'll need to succeed
The organisation is looking for someone with some sales experience following their graduation with a real passion for developing greater Manchester. Due to the nature of the role the successful candidate will need excellent communication skills and ability to work in collaboration with internal and external teams. You will represent the organisation at events, conferences, networking, client meetings and in-visits.
Fresh graduates with strong academic record may apply.
