Product Channel Manager | Life Sciences | £35-45,000

Your new company
You will be joining a global group of life science companies who reach extends to over 100 countries worldwide. This role sits within one of their divisions which is a life sciences consumable group offering a comprehensive range of sample preparation and separation kits and custom services for the clinical diagnostic and drug discovery research markets; as well as a specialist CRO/CMO company with expertise in the production and processing of bio-molecules, primarily antibodies and recombinant proteins who supply biotech, pharma, IVD manufacturers, universities and research institutes.

Your new role
As Product Channel Manager you will be responsible for maintaining and growing successful business-to-business partnerships. With key focus on expanding product distribution and increased brand awareness across all channel partners including internal and external distributors and dealers. Working closely with internal stakeholders across Sales and Marketing you will be directly responsible for the distribution of product communications and documentation across all partners including product launches, pricing, specifications, lead times and availability. This is a data heavy role and you will be the custodian of up to date price files for product line dealers, distributors and sales channels.

What you'll need to succeed
The role would suit someone with a degree in life sciences such as chemistry, biology or biochemistry or a Business-related graduate; who has already gained 2 years exposure in a Marketing, Product Management or Sales within Life Sciences; alternatively this role could suit someone who has been in a data heavy, research and analytical role with a customer facing element such as Financial Services/Investments. You should be able to read, analyse and interpret business, professional, and technical documents and be able to write reports & procedure manuals. A strong mathematical ability is also required as you will be calculating discounts, interest, commissions and rebates.

The salary package will be depending on experience, in the region of £35-45,000 with an excellent range of benefits. The work can be performed remotely, although it will be expected that you attend an office in Sheffield at least one day per month, so it would be ideal if you live within the Nottinghamshire, Lincolnshire or South Yorkshire areas.
