Job Details

When you think of iconic brands certain names jump to mind. Join our team, and you’ll play a lead role in our ambition of positioning Cunard as the first thing people around the world think of when it comes to luxury travel.

About The Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly capable Brand and Product Development Manager to join the Cunard Brand and Product Development team. Working closely with the Director Brand, VP Brand and Product, VP Marketing & Sales and senior stakeholders within Operations both on our ships and onshore, you’ll quickly make an impact. Your focus will be to provide clear brand vision and direction to all aspects of the business in order to grow Cunard’s status as an iconic luxury travel brand around the world.

You’ll define and manage our entire customer journey in-line with the needs of our target audience and both the long and short term commercial objectives of the business. Here, you’ll use your commercial acumen, creativity and enthusiasm to create real momentum.

Insightful and resourceful, you’ll identify opportunities for us to work with strong brand partners and individuals to strengthen our standing and increase our profile. Making what we already have work harder, you’ll find ways to continue to evolve our existing offer and create unique memorable moments for our discerning international guests.

About You

In order to have the desired impact, it’s imperative that you have proven experience with a significant customer facing brand across brand strategy, proposition & product development and customer insight, underpinning core marketing skills. You’ll be able to confidently and astutely develop, manage and implement products, architecture, service and branding design.

As a real team player and excellent communicator, influencer and negotiator, you’ll need to be able to build multi-faceted relationships with teams across the organisation and with third parties. You’ll be able to combine logic, strategies and analytical approaches with creativity and unparalleled innovation.

About Cunard

As pioneers of ocean travel with an inspiring heritage spanning over 182 years and outstanding service, Cunard is proud to occupy a unique position within the luxury travel market. Due to grace the seas in early 2024, our 249th ship, Queen Anne makes up a remarkable quartet alongside Queen Mary 2, Queen Victoria, and Queen Elizabeth, and our ambitions are greater than ever to continue our journey to grow and celebrate this very special brand.

Exceptional, passionate people are at the heart of this journey, as we recruit a Brand Manager to join the Cunard Brand & Product Development team. With support to help you reach your potential, attractive company benefits and generous employee discounts on voyages, we want your career with us to be a successful and enjoyable one. This is your chance to join us as we write Cunard's next chapter.

Apply Now.

Working with us means you'll be part of a tight-knit but truly diverse global team of passionate people.  You'll be supported to drive your development, from formal learning to the life lessons of worldwide travel.  We believe in inclusion and the power of diversity, so you'll be encouraged to bring your unique perspectives and experiences, and help us understand what you need to do your best work. We recognise the value in having people with a variety of backgrounds, experience and skills in our business. That means the role requirements here should be seen as a guide, not a checklist. If you have more, less or different experiences, but really relevant skills, we’d love to hear from you.

We work flexibly and will support you to find a healthy balance of remote working and time in our fantastic office collaborating, taking part in events and developing the social connections that make working with us so rewarding. We welcome the opportunity to discuss reduced hours and job share arrangements.

If this role requires you to visit and/or work on a Carnival UK ship, the successful candidate needs to be fully vaccinated (with a WHO or MHRA approved two-dose COVID-19 vaccination course or single-dose Janssen COVID-19 vaccine), including any relevant booster vaccinations. This is to maintain a safe environment onboard and reduce the risk of outbreaks, to protect our crew and our Guests. It’s also required for ships to dock and enjoy shoreside visits in many Ports of Call on global itineraries. This requirement will be under regular review.

Company

A market leader in the cruise industry, we operate ships all over the world. We’re most widely recognised by our famous brand names P&O Cruises and Cunard Line.

Working together, it’s our mission to be the most successful – the most spectacular – cruise company in Britain. To do this, we focus on providing the finest cruise experience for each and every customer. And of course, this isn’t possible without the skill and commitment of our people on board and ashore. That’s where you come in.
