Salary: £26,000 - £28,000 (depending on experience) + various benefits & Bonus Scheme

Job Type: Full-time/Permanent - 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday

Biocatalysts is a global biotechnology company producing speciality enzymes at commercial scales, offering both off-the-shelf enzyme products and a customised enzyme discovery, development and manufacturing service. From identifying an enzyme that exists as a concept on a database, through to producing large scale commercial quantities of stable enzymes suitable for global shipment.

About the role:

We are looking for a talented Marketing & Communications Coordinator to work within our small marketing team within a B2B environment.

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you will be an excellent communicator with responsibility for organising global events, support the execution of marketing campaigns using all aspects of the marketing mix and driving marketing activities in specific target sectors. You will also execute the promotional plan to drive customer awareness of Biocatalysts to support the company's position as a market leader in customised enzyme development and manufacture.

Additionally, you will manage the website and SEO optimisation, help maintain the CRM database to support sales and drive funnel management as well as using the CRM system in relation to customer segmentation and targeted communications.

About you:

A degree or CIM or similar is essential and having an aptitude for understanding our technical products and services will be advantageous along with the ability to create and design artwork for a wide variety of marketing media.

You will be a highly organised multi-tasker, responsible for organising global tradeshows so a willingness to travel would be ideal. Having excellent written and oral communication and a systematic and perfectionist approach to every task is integral to this role.
