Opportunity for a leading Law Firm. Offers hybrid working from Norwich or Cambridge offices.

Your new company
Hays Marketing are currently supporting a leading Law Firm, who are searching for a Business Development Adviser to join their growing team. This role can be based out of the Cambridge or Norwich office and offers a 50/50 hybrid and home working policy.

Your new role
As the Business Development Adviser you will be responsible for identifying BD opportunities, pipeline management and supporting on client care initiatives. You will provide high quality and effective business development advice for partners and lawyers across the business. Other responsibilities will include:

* Driving the development and execution of annual BD plans which identifies target organisations for your groups and measure results
* Supporting sales teams and managing pipelines with support from BDM where needed.
* Co-ordinating plans and associated budgets including monitoring and reporting on expenditure
* Undertaking market and sector research to identify target organisations and their business issues
* Identifying key memberships to help drive new leads and growth opportunities
* Rolling-out firm-wide initiatives and projects
* Supporting client relationship management, client listening and cross-selling initiatives
* Attend legal and sector association events and conferences to build knowhow and network with clients and prospects
* Act as a key contact for sector / service lines - attending regular meetings with your teams/groups, and working with marketing team colleagues to ensure delivery of aligned projects.

What you'll need to succeed
You will need a previous background within Marketing or Business Development, with excellent commercial acumen. You will have strong influencing and advisory skills as well as exceptional communication skills, and the ability to enhance strong relationships. It is key that you are enthusiastic, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
