You will be leading advertising campaigns for one of the biggest - and now most relevant - brands in the UK; how cool is that?!

The Role



We have an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Communications Lead with the vision, passion and obsession to pivot our marketing campaigns to show up more like a retailer and truly champion customer obsession. You will be leading advertising campaigns for one of the biggest - and now most relevant - brands in the UK.

Lead and own portfolio marketing strategies
*

Lead the development of compelling, brave, and distinctive marketing campaigns
*

Take a multi-portfolio view, ensuring activity ladders up to our brand purpose
*

Responsible for the alignment of marketing and end to end customer journey
*

Key interface into GM's and agency partners
*

Develop campaigns that drive core trading performance, thinking, and acting like a retailer
*

Develop best in class creative, guided by our brand purpose
*

Lead marketing planning process
*

Obsess over the customer journey to ensure the best possible experience for customers
*

Ensure consistency across all campaign performance comms
*

Develop best in class creative, guided by our brand purpose



The Person



As an experienced Marketing Communications Lead you'll have a track record of:

*

Outcome and impact driven with a relentless focus on commercial and customer outcomes over outputs
*

Leading the development of distinctive marketing campaigns
*

Driving commercial growth through effective and efficient marketing activity
*

Building marketing strategies that show clear purpose and ambitions
*

Holding stakeholders and agency partners to account, ensuring all marketing communications drive customer growth and champion customer obsession
*

Managing multi-channel marketing campaigns with expertise across a spectrum of channels.
*

Championing the customer, whilst obsessing over the performance of the business
*

Experience of driving marketing effectiveness within a matrix
*

structure, through defining and embedding an attribution model, managing large budgets and cost governance and driving return on marketing investment



And you'll have clear examples of:

Leading with empowerment and empathy to nurture future stars and motivate colleagues and partners to achieve outcomes they are proud of

Managing a range of stakeholders in a matrix organisation
