Our client, a market leading retailer, are seeking a Marketplace manager to join their thriving organisation .To further strengthen their thriving Marketplace business our client needs to secure a Marketplace Manager to support their wholesale function. The purpose of this role is to develop and profitably grow marketplace businesses globally on third party platforms such as Amazon and Metro and seek out new opportunities to expand the reach of the organisation. This is a growing area of the business and as such carries lots of opportunity to try out new ideas and shape the processes and procedures, so will suit an ambitious and commercially driven individual. You'll join an amazing team and get to work with a great group of stakeholders, who enrich each others work through close collaboration.
Your new role
You'll be tasked with developing and optimising profitable revenue opportunities from Vendor product catalogue, new product introductions, selling formats and promotional marketing activities.
Through operational planning and stock provision forecasting, you'll ensure the highest possible level of order confirmation rate whilst controlling Vendor charges and penalties
You will Increase the exposure of the organisations' own brands across the Vendor marketplaces, ensuring our clients' brands are represented to the highest of standards
You will work with Marketplace Analyst to analyse performance data and implement changes to grow the business
What you'll need to succeed
You must have a proven ability to work to revenue, margin and profit targets
You'll have the ability to positively affect customer experience (seller ratings, defect rates, etc.)
You'll be able to maintain and improve selection/range expansion targets
