Our client is a multinational discount supermarket chain with over 10,000 stores worldwide, and are constantly opening new stores globally, with an influx of impressive sales figures and are catering to an increasing number of consumers through their online stores.
Hays are currently recruiting for a Marketing Analyst with experience in customer retention the client is searching for someone that can help to maximise the value of their existing customer database across online sales and Click & Collect grocery. This is an exciting time to join the team as they design and rollout our customer retention and customer data strategy as part of the implementation of their new Customer Data Platform. Working as part of the National Marketing team, you will technically lead Assistants across email marketing, app marketing and remarketing .
Your new role
You will need to understand our customers, and really get to grips with how data can help every part of our business. It will see you come up with new and innovative ideas, and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
*Being the Business Subject Matter Expert for the implementation and rollout of our new Customer Data Platform
*Defining the requirements for the customer data strategy
*Designing the customer retention strategy
*Implementing marketing automation programmes to drive revenue
*Optimising performance of email marketing, app marketing and remarketing
*Collaboration with local and international Product Owners to manage system enhancements
*Weekly and monthly reporting and analysis - creating insight that drives change
What you'll need to succeed
*Experience of email marketing, app marketing and remarketing in either a client side or agency environment
*Experience of working with the Adobe stack of marketing tools - particularly Campaign, Target and Workbench
*Experience of implementing marketing automation programmes
*Strong numerical and statistical skills- Proficiency in working with and analysing large data sets
*Strong written and spoken communication skills. Must be detail orientated, deadline driven and able to multi-task.
*Advanced Excel Skills
*Proficient in Microsoft tools - Word/Excel, PowerPoint
*Excellent communication and project management skills
*Excellent Presentation and reporting skills

*Salary: £42,435 rising to £46,580
*5-day/40-hour week, working Monday- Friday, with the opportunity for remote working 2 days per week.
