Exciting remote Bid Writer job for a National scientific consultancy providing services in a specialist area.
Your new company
A specialist scientific consultancy, with a huge national presence, and a great reputation as an employer. The business has a growing bids team within four different sectors. Due to rapid business growth, there are multiple opportunities to join the business as a Bids Writer. The role will be remote, you can attend your closest office as you wish and there is a chance you may need to attend meetings further afield on occasion.
Your new role
As a Bids Writer, you will be responsible for the end to end bid process, for a variety of high value bids, whilst working closely with various senior stakeholders. You will play a critical role in the bid team, and take ownership of the bid process, as well as working with and challenging pitch teams. You will Report to the Bids Manager whilst working with the winder Bids, Tenders and Marketing teams.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have a clear background of experience within Bid writing roles, ideally gained within a scientific industry, if not an interest in science and environmental change would be desired. You will understand the shipley approach to bids and experience in end to end bit writing. You'll have good communication and relationship building skills, capable of establishing trust, as well as challenging stakeholders where relevant. You will have a full clean driving licence.
