Your new company
This is an exciting opportunity to work with a high profile charitable organisation in Wales who are moving into an exciting new phase having recently gone through a rebrand. You will be responsible for rolling out the new brand whilst taking on the leadership role of an overall team of 14 people but with direct line management responsibility for the Marketing Manager, Communications Manager, Brand Manager and Internal & Corporate Communications Manager.
Your new role
Working closely with the Senior Executive Team and the External Affairs team you will maintain positive working relationships with colleagues across the organisation, the board of trustees and external partners such as Welsh Government. You will inspire the Marketing & Communications team to deliver high-impact campaigns, raising awareness of the organisation across Wales, ensuring that there is an emphasis on the digital channels and platforms to effectively engage with new and existing users. You will oversee the roll-out of the new brand ensuring that it is embedded across the organisation and becomes synonymous with the reputation of the organisation. You will also lead on the reputational management for the organisation, advising senior management and the Board of Trustees on all issues relating to internal and external communications and marketing.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have prior experience of working at a senior level within Marketing & Communications, with excellent people skills and the ability to foster constructive working relationships with staff and external stakeholders and you will have extensive media relations experience. You will have experience of leading, developing and delivering strategic communications and marketing for diverse audiences, working with multi-disciplinary teams across multiple sites. You will be passionate about Wales and it is essential for this role that you are bilingual Welsh / English.
What you'll get in return
This role is being offered on a 12 month Fixed Term Contract initially. Salary £52,997 - £63,385 dependent on level of experience. 35 hour working week with flexible working options available. 35 days annual leave including bank holidays along with a range of other benefits.
Please note that this role can be based at any one of the organisations centres in Wales including Cardiff, Newport, Swansea & Llanberis.
