Marketplace Analyst - £ DOE - Hybrid Working (Bristol Office) - Perm position

Our client, a market leading multi-channel retailer, are experiencing a period of growth and have emerged from the pandemic with extremely strong financial results. As such, they are seeking an influential, problem-solver to join their organisation as a Marketplace Analyst, in order to analyse data and identify opportunities to drive revenue across the companies' full offering.


Your new role


You will work with the Marketplace Managers to analyse data and identify opportunities in order to drive revenue through catalogue management, trading opportunities and range offer. You will be comfortable reporting on the performance of the marketplace. Working with the forecasting team and third party stakeholders, You'll analyse and report on inventory performance and devise and implement actions to improve availability.
You will be responsible for managing the pricing within the Marketplace, whilst consulting the pricing team, ensuring consistency with the overall pricing of the organisations full offering. You will be tasked with ensuring that any implications which arise from dynamic pricing on other channels are to be communicated and understood.


Ultimately, you will be tasked with achieving revenue, margin and profit targets whilst improving conversion through Marketplace sales


What you'll need to succeed


You will be used to Cross-functional working and be able to influence. You will be able to manage relationships with third party service providers and be comfortable operating with senior business officials. Your ability to clearly articulate complex ideas will be key to this role. You will ideally have experience in commercial trading and must be able to carry out data analysis and be able to interpret data into insight. You will need to have strong stakeholder-management skills. Quality and attention to detail is really important in this role.
