Your new company
An opportunity has arisen to join a Higher Education institution based in Manchester City centre. Due to a period of change and expansion this organisation is looking for a Membership and Marketing to join their small dynamic team, on a permanent fulltime basis.

Your new role
The Membership and Marketing Manager will lead our membership growth, engagement and retention of the organisations inclusive community of Higher Education Professionals. In your new role you will work closely with a small dynamic team to promote and develop the organisations reputation. The postholder will be in regular contact with the organisations members to understand their needs and in response, will develop creative strategies to increase memberships and in turn, the institutions impact. You will design and implement a robust marketing plan with appropriate segmentation, that ensures that the right message gets to the right people. Through direct analysis of the education sector, you will assist the organisation in developing segmented, targeted marketing activities that deliver membership growth, engagement, and retention. In your new role you will plan and coordinate several membership surveys whilst analysing data and preparing reports and recommendations for senior management.


What you'll need to succeed
As a successful candidate you will be skilled at building results-driven relationships and enjoy crafting and implementing marketing plans that drives new memberships. You will need to be comfortable leading and doing and whilst being an encouraging line manager who can get the best out of their team to deliver ambitious results. You will demonstrate experience of developing and implementing high impact marketing plans whilst working within a team to deliver change and achieve identified goals. You will have experience of using a CRM system and working in an account management style and be familiar with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint). You will display an ability to analyse and present complex ideas and information and create compelling copy for communication channels.
