Your new company

Hays are delighted to be working with a leading Membership organisation to recruit a new Event Coordinator on a 12 month FTC to support in the delivery of multiple events across the UK.

Your new role

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you will support the delivery of a crucial part of the organisation outreach programme to engage with future members.

The successful candidate will support in the delivery of a number of skills based events across multiple locations in the UK. They will organise the applications to the competition, all the heats held all across the UK and the Grand Final which is held in Edinburgh.

They will also:

* Work with Marketing Manager on all the promotion of the competition
* Manage all communications with event participants applying for the competition and making sure that they receive their free affiliate membership.
* Organise venues, branding at the event and all catering for the heats.
* Making sure that any sponsors are supported and that their branding is clear
* Organising the Grand Final as instructed by the Marketing Manager with catering, logistics, accommodation and travel arrangements for guests.
* Organising branding for the Grand Final.

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role you will:

* Be Educated to Degree level or equivalent
* Have Event Management Experience
* Have experience of standard office administration processes, such as producing correspondence, arranging meetings, handling e-mails and phone calls, filing etc.
* Have Experience of using IT systems efficiently and effectively (including: MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint).
