Your new role
As Digital Marketing and Communications Manager you will take the lead on developing a fresh commercially led digital marketing and communications/PR strategy and work with a range of internal stakeholders to translate business requirements and success criteria into a comprehensive digital marketing and / or communications plan as needed. You will work with the Marketing Director and the Marketing Campaign and Brand Manager to develop a messaging and communications structure for each campaign, work alongside the Marketing Director and agency partners and take a strategic approach to building a public relations, communications and stakeholder engagement plan, that will increase the reach and impact of the organisation. You will lead the development of the online marketing channel with agencies, have responsibility for managing all digital channels, researching, creating and distributing an impactful content strategy and work with Business Improvement and IT teams to agree systems to support the digital strategy including lead management software, CRM etc. You will develop a KPI dashboard , manage internal / external relationships and expectations proactively, continuously research our competitors activity and behaviours on and offline, produce reports with recommendations, control budget and manage a team of marketing individuals.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have significant experience in a similar role with a strong digital background and a working knowledge of PR, a track record of running successful digital marketing programmes, experience of building communication and content strategies, excellent verbal and written skills and experience of commissioning and overseeing campaigns through external agencies. You will have previous people management and leadership experience and demonstrable experience of creating and executing strategies that support business objectives. 3rd level qualification in a related subject is preferable as well as experience of working in a professional services organisation however previous experience within an agency or a startup is also advantageous. You will be a natural influencer, with the ability to explain the power of brand, communications and digital transformation across the organisation, resilient, tenacious and ambitious with an appetite to be right first time, and excited at the prospect of becoming a critical member of a team, and shaping the commercial success of the business.
What you'll get in return
