Your new company
Hays are currently working in partnership with an established Global Asset Management firm that are based in the central London to recruit an FTC Events Manager on a 6-9-month contract. There is huge potential that this role could be converted into a permanent opportunity.
Your new role
In your new role as an Events Manager, you will be responsible for managing events planning & delivery for equities & fixed income corporate events within the EMEA & APAC regions. You will manage all events logistics, partnering with stakeholders to identify key success factors & metrics through monitoring events through strong commercial awareness. You will also manage sponsorship events & ensure these are streamlined against the sales team objectives. You will partner with marketing colleagues to produce any relevant event colleterial and supporting content. The role will encompass both physical & virtual events programs & you will use virtual software's such as Teams, WebEx & BrightTalk to execute these. The role will allow you to work with third-party events agencies, other fund groups, and distributors, to project manage successful events. (Includes liaising with third parties and fulfilling all requirements as specified by such parties).
What you'll need to succeed
* Experience within a similar Events Manager role within Asset management/ Financial Services (4-8 years)
* Experience with virtual events & digital tools
* Experience working with and managing third-party supplier/agency relationships
* Understanding of financial compliance
* Can do attitude with a keen eye for detail
* Someone who is open to change & different processes
