About the role

At Education Development Trust, our vision is a world in which all lives are transformed through excellent education. We combine global research and our longstanding expertise with regional knowledge to inform education policy and practice and deliver programmes around the world. Through our work and expertise – which spans from early years education right through to post-school careers – we seek to strengthen education systems, transform teaching and learning, ensure effective transitions into work, and contribute to global responses to key education challenges. We work in diverse contexts all over the world – in education systems as diverse as those in Brunei, Kenya, Rwanda, Ethiopia, England and the UAE.  This often includes challenging environments, hard-to-reach localities and marginalised communities where the need is greatest.

We are seeking a Senior Marketing Manager to join us for 12 months (maternity cover) to continue the team’s work in developing and delivering our marketing and public affairs activities.  This involves leading a small Brand & Marketing team in the design and implementation of events, thought leadership programmes, web and social content and political engagement aimed at government policymakers and the wider landscape of development education funding.  With the support of a network of marketing colleagues across our global hubs, this is a fantastic opportunity to make your mark in a role that is critical to growing the transformational impact of our work.

Benefits: A generous holiday allowance (30 days & bank holidays), a 6% matched pension scheme, excellent training and development opportunities, and family friendly policies to support flexible working. We also offer a suite of voluntary benefits including a health cash plan, ride to work scheme, and retail discounts.

To find out more and to make an application, please visit our careers website which can be accessed via the Apply button.

Closing date: 29th May 2022 (Please note, we reserve the right to close our vacancies early if sufficient applications are received)

Interviews will be held once the closing date has been reached.

Education Development Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and adults whom we work with and come into contact with around the world. All applicants are subject to thorough screening and for applicable roles, successful candidates are subject to relevant criminal record checks with national police authorities or the UK’s Disclosure and Barring Service.
