GUILDHALL EVENTS CO-ORDINATOR - 12 month FTC - upto £34,240 (+Overtime)

Your new company

We are on the hunt for an enthusiastic and highly organised Events Co-ordinator to join a small, friendly and motivated team, working to deliver events of the highest standard.

You would be part of the events team who are responsible for organising commercial and City Corporation hosted events at the historic London Guildhall in the heart of the Square Mile.

Guildhall is a world-class venue used by international companies, major public bodies and charities.

You will be joining the City of London Corporation, an organisation committed to supporting and promoting the City as the world's leading international finance and business centre.

The team manage some 500 events each year, ranging from high profile corporate events and award ceremonies to large charity fundraisers and concerts.

Your new role
You will be managing commercial events within the Guildhall complex as well as planning and organising a number of City Corporation hosted events, including civic ceremonies and dinners.

Main Responsibilities:

* Venue and event management
* Ensuring event objectives and timescales are met
* Promoting the Guildhall as an events venue
* Supporting the planning of the Guildhall events diary

Experience Required:

* Organising corporate/commercial events in a professional environment
* Managing financial systems
* Prioritising a demanding and diverse workload

Person specification:
An ambitious individual, with previous event experience, who is dedicated, reliable and conscientious.
