* Hybrid Working- 1 day a week in office
* £23.07 per hour (PAYE premium)

Your new role
Manage and co-ordinate a programme of Events, campaigns, initiatives and other activities in line with objectives.
Areas of responsibility will include: -
* City events
* Community Events and Support
* Culture Campaigns and Initiatives
* Major Events
* People Question Time, State of London Debate and conference engagement
* Exhibition programme
Project manage specific projects and initiatives, working with colleagues across the group and organisation
Contribute to the development of a wider programme of events and cultural campaigns, and other community initiatives in London, in line with the Cultural Strategy and community engagement policy and priorities.
Principle accountabilities
* Work closely with Events Manager, Advisers and policy teams to develop, plan and deliver the programme of events/initiatives/exhibitions - statutory, cultural and community.
* Working with colleagues across the Group and external stakeholders to project manage specific events and initiatives.
* Create and maintain relations with London-wide and national bodies to contribute to the Group event programme in line with objectives
* Contribute to the business planning process, taking particular responsibility for the production of an annual programme of major events for London according to the priorities, including budgetary proposals.
* Help integrate London's cultural offer into the overall promotion and marketing of the city, including through close liaison with London and Partners and gain extensive media coverage for London's cultural offer working with the press office
* Prepare written and oral briefings, high level advice and reports, Respond to questions and scrutiny of these programmes.
* Manage resources allocated to the post in accordance with the Authority's policies and Code of Ethics and Standards.
* Realise the benefits of London's diversity by promoting and enabling equality of opportunities, and promoting the diverse needs and aspirations of London's communities, operating in a politically restricted post.
