Product Marketing - manage lifecycle marketing activities for medical devices products including launch plans
Your new company
My client are an award-winning and innovative medical devices company. With over 30 years of experience in the industry they are a people-first organisation with a commitment to improving patient experience and harnessing new technologies & ideas. We are exciting to be partnering exclusively with them to recruit the role of Product Marketing Manager to be based at their Buckinghamshire Head offices, but covering a global remit (with travel & hybrid working).
Your new role
As Product Marketing Manager you will combine traditional Product Marketing with commercial Product Management to work with KOL's and clinicians to understand their 'problems' and suggest NPD 'solutions' to Regulatory and Engineering teams. You will manage marketing activities across the entire product lifecycle from GTM and product launches on a global scale, creating marketing plans and executing campaigns for all stages of the product lifecycle. This will involve competitor analysis, product launches and sales enablement/training. You will be the voice and champion of the customer internally, helping to guide NPD with customer feedback and a deep understanding of competitive products and related technologies - with a key focus on defining positioning and messaging for products, and owning the overall go-to-market strategy.
What you'll need to succeed
You will ideally have a background in Medical Devices (or a similarly regulated or technical environment such as chemicals, automotive etc.) with strong experience as a Product Marketing Manager. You will be able to demonstrate success in customer casing, working with KOL's and customers to understand their needs and feed into the product development process in order to meet those needs (working with R&D). You will understand working with customers and how to target them with GTM and launch plans. You will have experience of driving demand, adoption and the overall success of products through end-to-end product marketing with tactical experience in positioning and messaging for products.
What you'll get in return
You will receive a salary of up to £50,000 plus benefits including a car allowance circa £7000, 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays, and health insurance. You will have the opportunity to define and drive the Marketing plans of a key product category for a global brand, in an organisation that is friendly, ambitious and passionate about patient care. You will be able to work flexibly from offices, home and on-the-road where required (as the role is customer facing).
