PR and External Communications | Law Firm | Hybrid Working

Your new role
As PR and Communications Manager, you will be supporting the Marketing Manager in the development and delivery of the PR and external comms strategy, being the principle contact for all external comms and relationships, and being responsible for the day-to-day running of the press office.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:


* Plan and produce high-quality materials and content, including: press releases; feature and thought-leadership articles; website copy; intranet articles; and background material for marketing collateral
* Anticipate and help produce communications responses to crisis situations which could adversely affect reputation
* Responsible for the firm's PR budget, working closely with the Marketing Manager to ensure spend is within defined financial plans and always targeted towards business priorities
* Build positive working relationships with key fee-earners and business services staff across the firm; develop and maintain a good working knowledge of the issues affecting the firm and its clients; provide communications training to lawyers and support staff where required
* Co-manage the firm's relationship with its external PR agency; ensure the effective and consistent delivery on all PR and communications content
* Work with the Marketing Manager to consistently review and analyse the PR and communications output - on- and offline - to measure and evaluate effectiveness and identify where improvements can be made
* Provide a focal point for internal communications activity; support the Marketing Manager to develop and implement internal communications strategies; plan, write and edit internal communications content


What you'll need to succeed
You will be a motivated self-starter who can hit the ground running and thrives in a varied working environment. A PR and comms background in a corporate or professional services environment is essential.
