A Marketing Communications Officer operating within the Public Sector

Your new company
This Manchester based organisation is a public governing body that work closely with doctors, employers, educators, and patients to achieve high standards of care and safety and improve medical education and practice across the UK. An opportunity has arisen to join this organisation as a Marketing communications officer on a permanent basis.

Your new role
In your new role you work will closely with teams across the organisation to plan, organise and deliver successful strategic communications to support a range of services. Through your innovative plans and insight, you will make sure that all communications and marketing work is inclusive, integrated, and accessible, across various media platforms. Projects will involve developing briefs for agencies, designers, and other internal and external suppliers, working alongside them to deliver agreed services on time and within budget. You will carry out user testing where possible to ensure the diverse needs of all audiences are met whilst measuring the effectiveness of all communications.

What you'll need to succeed
This organisation is looking for an individual with a breadth of marketing experience, you will have excellent interpersonal, and team working skills and have a proven track record of working alongside internal and external stakeholders to deliver successful projects. To succeed, you will be able to confidently demonstrate experience in copywriting, editing and proofreading written communications. Ensuring consistent tone across is applied to all projects, publications and strategic reports is an essential aspect of this role. A successful candidate will have excellent time management and organisational skills and be confident in meeting deadlines while retaining a strong level of attention to detail.
