Your new company
You will be working as a Bid Manager with one of the world's largest insurance brokers. You will be supporting the New Business team within the firm's growing Investment practice area. The team sits at the heart of the business and is valued for its expertise and the key role it plays in generating successes for the organisation.
Your new role
You will be responsible for managing multiple bids throughout their entire lifecycle, targeting new business and retenders. You will work with the Head of Bid Management to develop an effect bid strategy and maximise success. You will work closely with internal colleagues across the practice area, who are industry leading experts, in a role with large scope for development.
This Bid Manager role is a permanent position, with hybrid working options available and flexibility in office location across the UK. You will lead and train teams on the bid process and share best practices internally to drive improvement on winning new business.
What you'll need to succeed
* Previous experience managing multiple, complex bids within an FS or Prof Services setting
* Experience chairing and facilitating meetings with clients and senior internal stakeholders
* Effective verbal and written communication skills
* Good at developing productive, long-lasting relationships
* Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite
* Experience with knowledge management systems (e.g. Qvidian)
