Hays are delighted to be working with a recognised and leading organisation in their industry, within the private sector, who focus on providing a high quality and reliable service to their customers. They have a requirement for a Event Lead to join the team on a permanent basis.
Your new role
As a key member of the team you will be responsible for the planning, execution and post-event evaluation of a large scale medical conference, the organisations largest annual event for Vet Professionals.
You will lead all logistical aspects of the execution of the annual events strategy and be the main contact for all event enquiries via both telephone and email, responding in a thorough and timely manner.
It is the Event Leads responsibility to develop and build our relationships with the organisations event partners, location managers and software providers as well as leading the internal marketing team on all aspect of event promotion.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role you must have:
* Live event management experience, such as conferences, exhibitions, award ceremonies and gala dinners.
* Speaker Management experience
* Experience of working with external audio-visual companies
* Project Management Experience and experience of project management system like 'monday.com'
* Experience using event registration systems like 'Aventri
