Digital Catapult is looking for a Marketing and Communications Manager who will be responsible for the planning and execution of compelling marcomms plans designed to engage audiences across a flagship project and support additional departmental activities.This is a dynamic role with plenty of variety, you’ll be utilising the full range of marcomms skills with the development of campaigns from concept to final delivery and implementation. You’ll be responsible for guiding how this critical project is supported by the marcomms team and the results generated. Closing date for Applications: 16th January 2022 Anticipated Start date: ASAP

What We’re Looking For

  • Relevant experience in marketing or communications preferably from a technology or telecomms business, start-up or agency
  • Experience across the full marcomms mix including PR, Comms, Content and Marketing Tools
  • A business or marketing related qualification is beneficial or qualified by experience
  • Adaptability – able to deal with a fast pace and work within an exciting and dynamic environment, a team player with the ability to build successful relationships with colleagues and stakeholders
  • Self-motivated and able to get stuck in, drives performance, a quick learner who can hit the ground running with the ability to work autonomously
  • Strong project management and organisation skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Focused, solutions/results driven individual with a creative flair who learns best by doing
  • A proactive and clear communicator, able to synthesise complex content

What You’ll Do

  • Developing and managing marketing plans and communications campaigns that drive success for our programmes, including a key five year project
  • Leading on marcomms activities across a number of projects and programmes with a broad spectrum of the marketing mix
  • Liaising with a wide number of stakeholders from different sectors and industries and maximising results for all partners
  • Management and production of communication tools, including publications, videos, marketing collateral and materials, segmented and targeted campaigns, content creation including websites
  • Reporting and analysing results across different channels and mediums, using industry knowledge and benchmarks to make learnings and recommendations for improvements, feeding these into future campaigns
