This organisation is looking for a communications specialist proficient with multimedia skills to create content and generate a public interest in the organisation and their activities. The ideal candidate must have a background in communications and PR as well as being able evidence their ability to create news content, press releases and take videos, and picture and more to display the organisation as creatively to secure media coverage.

Your new role

As a communications specialist you will be reporting to the corporate communications manager to execute the organisations marketing and communications, and external engagement objectives. Their ideal candidate must be able to use multimedia skills to tell stories about the organisation to a variety of platforms.

* Proofread and place news and other stories for a variety of audiences.
* Co-ordinate work related to the delivery of the media relations strategy.
* Organise press interviews for staff.
* Create multimedia content to communicate key events within the organisation publicly.
* Optimising a variety of media channels daily and strategise ways to reach more consumers.
* Assisting social media officer in managing and monitoring social media accounts.
* Assisting with the preparation of social media accounts.
* Support and contribute to the provision of crisis management and media training workshops.
