Your new company
This large, growing organisation, based in the Poole area but with a highly mobile work force based around the UK, are looking to add another head to their Digital Experience team. Technically, the organisation prides itself on being forward thinking and is ahead of it's peers in terms of the systems and technologies it uses, and this is an excellent opportunity for a Sitecore specialist to take their knowledge and skills and apply it for good, surrounded by highly skilled and creative professionals.

Your new role
This is a key position within the Digital Experience team, and is focused on strategic management of the Sitecore platform. The key responsibilities of the role include:

* Providing expert guidance and defining standards in best practice use of the strategic content management system and digital marketing platform, Sitecore.
* Advise and govern quality across the Sitecore websites ensuring internal content managers adhere to page layout, component best practice, Information architecture, accessibility, UX and SEO standards.
* Build sections and update content which meet digital principles and user needs
* Responsible for diagnosing and investigating website related issues external agency teams.
* Manage the BAU sprint process from interpreting user requirements, translating these into user stories with acceptance criteria for web development, though to sprint planning, testing and team comms.
* To become involved in other ad hoc requests as required.
* Support the Digital Platform Lead on strategic organisation wide projects which impact the Sitecore environment which will take advantage of the wider marketing features of the platform
* Responsible for development quality assurance leveraging automated testing, test management platforms such as Zephyr across the Sitecore development lifecycle

What you'll need to succeed

* Significant experience of content management systems specifically Sitecore and Umbraco
* Demonstrable experience with Sitecore's Context Marketing and xDB capabilities are essential
* Experience managing web development backlog
* Experience in using Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, OneTrust cookie management
* Experience with process driven approaches ie. Kanban, Lean and Agile methodologies would be desirable
* Experience in prioritising and managing conflicting stakeholder expectations and deadlines
* Experience of working within large and complex organisations
* Exceptional attention to detail and quality control
* Previous line management experience is desirable
* Good understanding of Google Analytics for analysis and interpretation of website performance
