If you have experience of using direct/digital marketing techniques and taking a lead role in delivery programmes within a fundraising team, this role as Direct Marketing Executive with Greenpeace could be the perfect opportunity.
Greenpeace is an international non-profit global campaigning organisation. Our independence and global reach enable us to stand for positive change through action in order to defend nature and promote peace. We investigate and expose global environmental problems, confront those in positions of power and present alternative solutions.
This is your opportunity to put all your creative, organisational and analytical skills behind one of the great challenges in multi-channel direct marketing fundraising.
You’ll be responsible for delivering a range of fundraising and retention initiatives to increase income and improve supporter loyalty. Your focus will be the start-to-finish management of a variety of projects in order to output a programme of direct marketing communications across channels including digital, mail, telemarketing and email.
This will include significant elements of monitoring/tracking, reporting and budgeting within the Supporter Development & Retention/Fundraising teams, as well as cross-organisational working (e.g. with Supporter Care, Recruitment/Key Relationships, Data & Insight, Digital Campaigning, etc.) and external agency management.
- Experience of using direct/digital marketing techniques and taking a lead role in delivery programmes within a fundraising team – backed by a strong commitment to working in a supporter focused environment and communicating our messages.
- Extensive experience across a range of media including digital, email and print, with the ability to source, brief and manage external agencies and suppliers, working to individual project budgets and monitoring costs.
- Ability to communicate compelling stories to supporters by email, mail or digital channels, to produce accurate briefs and reports, and to evaluate and amend direct marketing copy and creative/design work.
- A real enthusiasm for analysis-driven direct marketing, with the ability to calculate key information to judge success of marketing activity (e.g. ROI and Cost per Upgrade), plus a proven understanding of basic statistical techniques.
You’ll be encouraged to develop both personally and professionally, taking advantage of the wide range of learning and development opportunities available to our staff. We offer great benefits such as a generous pension scheme, subsidised lunches, free yoga and a wealth of well-being resources, just to name a few. Take a look at our Work for Greenpeace pages to find out more about what it’s like to work for us and why you should apply.
We are happy to consider flexible working requests as part of the recruitment process.
