Your new role
Working closely with the Head of Marketing, Communications and Customer Contact, and the HR Manager you will write and deliver communications for the Trust externally and internally.
You will be responsible for creating editorial content for all channels, internal and external, using different formats including written e-newsletters, marketing content, media announcements and editorial, social media and website content, reports, images and video.
Working across the trust you will support the organisational culture through employee engagement. Developing the trust's new staff intranet, establish and lead a comprehensive internal communications system (face to face and digital) to ensure all employees are kept informed, engaged and motivated, including staff forums, surveys, polls and leadership initiatives.
What you'll need to succeed
Ideally you will have previous experience of working in the charity or leisure sectors, in a busy environment.
* Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
* Excellent writing, editing and proof reading skills
* Creative and digital - knowledge of WordPress, Canva and Adobe suite are beneficial
* Ability to work to tight deadlines and manage a busy workload
