Newly created regional role in fast growing games business- looking for a senior marketing leader with an FMCG background.
Our client is a world leader in their category and are looking to ramp up marketing and brand initiates and implement a new regional layer in the business to further align local marketing initiatives to maximise brand potential and drive business growth.
Looking after 5 core market clusters key responsibilities will be:
European growth strategy- Help lead the annual strategic planning and commercial planning for the retail brands in Europe, working very closely across local markets and other functions
Global collaboration- Develop and implement optimised marketing initiatives, leverage best in class frameworks and model, tailor GTM plans tailored to specific consumer segment/ geographic market
Marketing Planning and Activation- A deep understanding of consumer markets to coordinate annual brand plans, Trade and DTC
Digital transformation- as the business continues to shift from more traditional retail to increased online - set plans to maximise the digital opportunities to maximise awareness and sales
Classic FMCG background ideally in big blue chip as well as some experience in smaller more entrepreneurial business
Ideally have worked in a business which has implemented a similar structural change- e.g. adding a regional layer to an existing global/ local set up
Commercial accountability- budgeting, P&L Management, pricing strategies
Strong digital and e-commerce - experience driving SEO, SEM, Display, Email, Web Video, Social, Ecommerce
A great coach and leader able to negotiate, influence and challenge as well as provide support and guidance in a time of structural change
