Head of Marketing - Central London - £75,000 - £100,000 - Permanent

My client is a privately owned, entrepreneurial company based in Chancery Lane. They were established in 1999 and have grown significantly since then. They are a global classified ads website enabling users to buy and sell a range of items through a simple and sociable shopping experience. They operate across 15 countries and generate 35,000,000 users a month with our main category of focus being Adult. Their vision is to be the safest most trusted platform that allows users to engage in a non-judgemental space.

Your new role
As Head of Marketing, you will be reporting to the Managing Director and will work across multiple markets, primarily the UK market, leading the Marketing team in the strategy setting, execution and measurement of Marketing initiatives and projects. This role will specifically focus on the UK market, in which we have made huge steps in cementing positive relationships with charities and government official bodies. Your job is to make this known! Bring creativity, innovation and new ways of showcasing this work through a variety of activities. Youneed to be a hands on marketeer with experience in C2C marketing, open to understanding the sensitivities and challenges behind the Adult space. Embraces the feminist movement and has the ability to apply into marketing the business to the right audience and in the right way. The right person will be able to showcase the good work we do through not only the community but also government bodies and supporting associations.

What you'll need to succeed

* Experience leading a Marketing team, defining the team strategy and ensuring the multi-channel delivery and reporting of said roadmap
* Ability to influence across the business, from senior management to ground level
* Expert-level understanding of Search Engine Optimisation best practice, being able to demonstrate driving SEO growth in previous roles
* Previous experience operating paid media channels, understanding how to budget effectively to drive maximum ROI and maximise business growth
* A strong grasp of CRM, being able to highlight previous experience in growing this channel, getting 'under the hood' in the technical requirements of a strong CRM system, alongside having a clear understanding of GDPR and the legal requirements for any setup
* Experience launching and scaling social media platforms and content strategies
* Strong capabilities using Google Analytics (or similar) to understand performance and provide insights/recommendations

A strong leader, able to set clear KPIs and objectives whilst bringing out the best in their team to ensure they develop their skills whilst delivering real business value

* Experience delivering innovative and creative campaigns that stand out from the crowd
* Experience in coaching, training, and people management
* Excellent project management skills
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, taking complex ideas and sharing these in a business-friendly manner
* An equally proactive and reactive approach, as and when needed
* Good attention to detail, logical and organised
* Ability to work on multiple projects at once and meet tight deadlines
* A willingness to pick things up fast, test new things and to learn when we fail
