Looking for an experienced Regional Communications Officer for a 3 month+ role

This role is to maintain and build their reputation within traditional, digital and social media using strong contacts with national media channels to generate coverage.
Your new role
Assist the Media Manager and Communications Officers in developing stories, excellent campaigns and high-profile media events. The role also performs administrative tasks vital for the smooth running of the office. You will be required to deliver news stories and coverage in significant regional and local media - print, broadcast and digital - through proactive and reactive media activity.
What you'll need to succeed
* The ability to work flexibly within multi-disciplinary teams, including outside core hours
* The ability to research and produce briefings and materials for the media, as well as strong story telling skills to bring a subject to life
* Demonstrable experience of gaining extensive media coverage and growing stakeholder relationships
* Be well organised, accurate and strong attention to detail
