About Us:

NUOPTIMA is a digital marketing agency that has generated over £700k in revenue. We work across all industries, historically focusing on cannabis, CBD, and now expanding to wider e-commerce. We provide SEO, influencer marketing, PPC, email marketing and web development services. Our contract values range from £10k to £40k.

The Role

We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager. You will be prospecting new clients, closing leads and upselling our roster of digital marketing services. You’re a hunter, you have experience generating leads and closing sales calls. You have experience in the digital marketing space, either as a technical individual yourself or experienced in pulling knowledge from our team of digital marketing specialists.

Responsibilities include:

  • Generate leads consistently through a variety of channels including cold email, LinkedIn, cold calling, Upwork, etc.
  • Qualify leads, generate client proposal, close deals
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients and prospects
  • Set sales targets, create client budgets, and maintain revenue sheets
  • Set-up and maintain CRM, create and implement workflows
  • Continuous internal communication between teams to implement projects

The Ideal Candidate:

We’re looking for a proactive and proven individual who has worked in an agency before and is confident in selling recurring digital marketing services.

About you:

  • Most of all, we are looking for enthusiasm for sales and digital marketing
  • Strong organisation and project management skills
  • A sense of urgency and strong time management
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • A bold negotiator and lateral thinker
  • Experienced in using G-suite and project management systems such as Jira and Notion
  • Highly motivated self-starter who is a quick learner and loves a good challenge

Required Qualifications:

  • Good knowledge of and experience in SEO and digital marketing
  • Experience using SEO tools such Ahrefs, Moz, Semrush
  • Experience using Klaviyo, MailChimp, or other email software
  • Excellent knowledge of using Excel/Google Sheets
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment, basic budgeting, and meeting multiple deadlines

Desired Qualifications:

These are not requirements for the role but are a plus:

  • Having worked at a fast-growing start-up or a fast-paced agency
  • Experience using GSuite, Trello, CRM systems such as Streak, Pipedrive, Hubspot etc
  • Experience / Awareness of Digital Marketing Tools tools such Ahrefs, Moz, Semrush, Google Ads etc
  • Excellent knowledge of using Excel/Google Sheets
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment, basic budgeting, and meeting multiple deadlines


  • £40-60k base + commission
  • Sales commission negotiable
