Leading Scottish educational organisation seeking knowledgeable compliance technician to join campus team.

Your new company
My client is a leading educational organisation looking to take on a knowledgeable compliance technician to join their property management team. This role sits within their Operations and Maintenance team who have the responsibility for the upkeep of their campus buildings - including building fabric, electrical and mechanical building services. Their campus boasts sports, academic, entertainment and cultural facilities as well as a loch, an Olympic-sized swimming pool and an 18-century castle.

Your new role
This role will see you working across a portfolio of buildings, ranging from residential and sporting facilities, to research labs, and lecture halls. As a compliance technician, you will be responsible for assisting in ensuring all legislative compliance and planned preventative maintenance works are arranged, coordinated and managed. You will be tasked with being able to effectively prioritise multiple tasks and meet deadlines, as well as a requirement to be able to solve problems as and when they should arise.

What you'll need to succeed
My client are looking for an individual who has experience working in a similar role, who has a formal qualification in engineering and a knowledge of all aspects of legislative compliance. You will be able to deliver excellent service and be able to confidential engage will external suppliers and contractors in a professional manner. You must have a an understanding of electrical and mechanical building services including HVAC and desirably have knowledge of Legionella, LOLER & PUWER.
