The LSL Group has been retained to find a dynamic Group Marketing Manager for one of our Clients – a long-established, ambitious high-profile country sports retailer.
Reporting to the Group CEO, you will have responsibility for overall control and development of the Group’s marketing strategy and function and all aspects of its day-to-day performance including supervision and development of the marketing team . You will provide strategic and operational guidance to management and stakeholders to ensure that the company's marketing and brand strategic objectives are achieved.
This is an ideal position for an ambitious individual seeking to join a dynamic business and contribute strategically as well as tactically to the performance of the organisation. Your working arrangement will be flexible with the head office based in central London.
As Group Marketing Manager your key responsibility will be to support the achievement of an ambitious sales plan. You will motivate and lead the small UK team and play a strategic role, working with the Group CEO and Management Committee on the direction of the UK business, working beyond the marketing remit.
This position will suit a highly motivated professional marketer with several years of successful marketing management experience in a premium retail business with bricks and mortar and online presence. You will have a demonstrable track record of development and implementation of marketing strategy. Ideally you will have an interest in country sports.
A self-starter, you will have excellent leadership and organisational skills and a flexible approach. You will be a strong and confident communicator who is able to inspire and motivate your team and gain their buy-in to maximise positive outcomes and success.
