Lead role in Email Marketing - manage a team, & operate in-house agency-style function for email campaigns

Due to investment and expansion within their Digital Marketing function, we are partnering to recruit the job of Senior Email Marketing Manager.
Your new role
Working as part of the Digital team responsible for delivering high-impact digital communications, you will lead the Email Marketing function comprising of three direct reports. Due to impressive growth in email marketing for the brand in recent years, you will strategically lead on end-to-end campaigns and automated journeys that integrate across online and offline channels including SMS.
You will own the email strategy for UKI, taking responsibility for making data driven decisions on innovation, testing and segmentation - embedding email best practice - and will work with teams across the organisation to support the creation and delivery of multi-channel campaigns and introduce and maintain existing automation. Your team will respond almost like an in-house agency - taking briefs from stakeholders in the business and designing creative and impactful email campaigns. You will project-manage and mentor these actions, taking a more strategic approach to the day-to-day and owning more project-based work to drive creativity and innovations in email marketing.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be an email marketer or CRM specialist with substantial experience creating, implementing and delivering an email marketing channel strategy. You will have experience managing a large database of customers, with extensive experience using ESPs. Team management would be a strong advantage as you will be managing a small team - but not necessarily a prerequisite.
Other key requirements include:
* Experience of managing email channel schedules and complex life-cycle automation
* Working knowledge of Google Analytics, Tableau and other tracking and analytical tools
* Advanced knowledge of audience segmentation and profiling
* Experience in creating and implementing processes and workflows to maximise efficiency and provide structure
