We are looking for a Marketing Coordinator to work 35 hours per week for a 3 month period to support a Faculty team at Southampton University. This role can be based anywhere in the UK, 100 percent remote.
Supporting the team during a busy period the person must have good relationship building skills and able to understand scientific subjects enough to be able to present this to prospective students. They would be responsible for marketing programmes to future students in the faculty of Environment & Life Sciences (FELS).
To implement marketing and communication activities as part of a marketing plan, following direction from the Marketing Officer and in collaboration with other members of the marketing team. Taking ownership of allocated activities as well as coordinating and facilitating other activities as identified in the plan.
Delivery of tasks will be via the most appropriate marketing channels and through a mixture of facilitation and implementation, ensuring on-time delivery and stakeholder satisfaction. Marketing channels will include but are not exclusive to:
* Advertising (online and printed)
* Publications (online and printed)
* Digital (including web & social media)
* Press & PR
* Event support (marketing collateral not logistics)
The successful candidate will have proven experience working in a generalist marketing role and ideally hold a marketing qualification, CIM, marketing Degree or other.
You must be able to start immediately.
