Your new company

Our client is a nationally recognised customer retail bank, operating both digitally and through customer branches, seeking a Property Operations professional to assist in the wider Property Team to deliver service across their Branch Network, Operational Centres and Head Office buildings.

Your new role

This role is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced property operations officer with a background in facilities to expand their experience working within a corporate environment. As part of your role, you would be expected to have day-to-day oversight of the contracted facilities team, and work with stakeholders to ensure work is carried out in accordance with business guidelines. You will also be responsible for taking lead on planning future asset maintenance as well as the related budgeting- cost approvals and scrutiny. Part of this role will see you assessing and understanding the operational implications of annual forward planning.

What you'll need to succeed

The ideal candidate will have experience in Facilities Management, preferably with BIFM/IWFM certifications, as well as an HND (or equivalent) in a relevant electrical, mechanical, or building services related discipline. You will have an understanding of property legislation and be able to demonstrate strong analytical skills. You must be able to work both independently and as part of a wider Property Team. The successful candidate will be a strong communicator with the ability to consult and negotiate confidently and professionally.
