Role: FT Mon-Friday either 9-6 or 10-7 with some weekend and evening work

Location: Strand Photography Gallery office, 32 John Adam St, London

Responsibilities: 

  • Develop, implement and manage the sales and marketing strategy
  • Liaise and work closely with all departments and external agencies, partners and suppliers
  • Plan, implement and manage marketing and lead generation campaigns and understand how to effectively measure results
  • Develop and maintain a consistent corporate image and ensure that the brand is well
  • communicated across all channels
  • Creation, implementation and management of the marketing activity
  • Inform and guide the strategy for Proud’s online presence, working with marketing team members to continually improve and update our website and social media channels
  • Responsible for directing the creation and execution of marketing materials
  • Develop, implement and manage sales forecasting activities, setting financial targets with Proud’s CEO, and aggressively building a plan to take market share from competitors
  • Prepare and present sales reports detailing sales, potential sales and areas of proposed expansion
  • Set performance goals for the sales team and monitor their progress
  • Review and analyse sales performance (individual and company wide) against plans and KPIs to determine effectiveness
  • Monitor, prepare and report on marketing communications and sales activity
  • Manage and give clear direction to the marketing and sales team
  • Coordinate sales and marketing campaigns and initiatives to achieve business objectives
  • Meet with key clients to ensure relationships are maintained and developed
  • Work with the CEO to identify new revenue or brand expansion opportunities across the business 
  • Take ownership of Proud’s business and brand development 
  • Project management of individual and ad hoc new business
  • Identify and understand clients and partners’ business needs and objectives to develop marketing and sales campaigns and negotiate new deals
  • Coordinate liaison between sales and all other departments
  • Work closely with operational teams across all venues to understand how sales and marketing can support them
  • Develop and manage marketing/sales budgets
  • Encourage effective internal communications across the group and particularly between venues and head office

 

 SKILLS AND BACKGROUND

  • A degree in marketing, communications, public relations, business administration, advertising or related field is preferable, and or industry qualifications and equivalent experience.
  • A proven track record in marketing and sales
  • Experience within the Hospitality and Events industry will be critical
  • Ability to develop, manage and implement strategy and plans
  • Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Knowledge and application of a wide range of marketing and sales techniques and concepts
  • An excellent project manager. Strong on execution
  • Strong financial acumen and budgeting skills and analytic ability
  • A creative thinker who can be brave with decision making and take the initiative
  • Strong organisational skills, detail oriented and able to manage their own admin
  • Experience managing, guiding and motivating a team
  • Above all a loyal and committed team player
  • A strong work ethic. You will lead by example
